4. Silicate Bonded Epoxy Coating
Silicate bonded epoxy coatings are another great product for chemical resistance on your concrete floors because they contain silicates that are insoluble in water, making them resistant to hydrolysis, which is when water breaks down the chemical structure of a material. These concrete floor coating products are also resistant to acids, alkalis, and detergents. Silicate bonded epoxy is often used as an anti-skid coating for concrete floors because it has a high coefficient of friction which makes it slippery when wet.
